Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic welding tasks using techniques such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding as directed by senior welders or supervisors.
- Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, or shaping components to meet project specifications.
- Inspect welded joints for quality and accuracy, reporting any defects or issues to supervisors.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all welding activities.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workshop to support efficient operations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to required standards.
