This role involves performing welding tasks under supervision, contributing to manufacturing or fabrication projects, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform basic welding tasks using techniques such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding as directed by senior welders or supervisors.
  • Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, or shaping components to meet project specifications.
  • Inspect welded joints for quality and accuracy, reporting any defects or issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all welding activities.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workshop to support efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to required standards.
